As Chief Executive of Total Clean Air (TCA), he has built a company renowned for engineering excellence, technical depth, and uncompromising commitment to quality and compliance across pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.

Phillip is a key driver of Modular Clean Air (MCA), working closely with Vanguard to deliver modular, regulation-ready cleanrooms that meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical and biotech organisations. Under his leadership, MCA facilities—from compact plug-and-play labs to fully bespoke multi-room setups—combine ISO-certified engineering with speed, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Chris Blackwell-Frost is Chief Executive Officer of Vanguard Healthcare Solutions, a leading provider of modular healthcare infrastructure and clinical services across the UK and internationally. With more than 20 years’ experience driving healthcare innovation, he has played a pivotal role in delivering rapid-deployment clinical environments, including operating theatres, endoscopy suites, and sterile services units.
Chris is also at the forefront of Modular Clean Air (MCA), Vanguard’s innovative cleanroom venture developed in partnership with Total Clean Air (TCA). This collaboration combines Vanguard’s expertise in modular healthcare delivery with TCA’s ISO-certified engineering to provide regulation-ready cleanroom solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences organisations.
